The characteristics of aluminum foil bags, high-temperature cooking bags, and aluminized laminated films

December 13, 2023

Aluminum foil bags, high-temperature retort bags, and aluminized laminated films are all common products in the packaging industry. Mastering the production processes and characteristics of these packaging products is a basic skill in the industry. Let's take a look at the production characteristics of these three products.

Features of aluminum foil bags

Aluminum foil bags are a high-level packaging bag. The printed aluminum foil bags are even more magnificent than other bags, which not only improve the grade of goods packaged in aluminum foil bags, but also increase the display value of goods packaged in aluminum foil bags. Choosing appropriate specifications based on equipment conditions, it can significantly reduce losses. Aluminum foil bags have a metallic luster, good light protection as well as high reflective ability to heat and light with metallic luster and reflection.

High temperature cooking bags

During the processing of high-temperature cooking bags, the following basic processing requirements need to be met:

To fully mature

To give full play to the main solid reaction of the cooking glue and ensure the quality of the composite, a curing period of 8-15 days or 3-5 days is required (the curing period of YH502 can be shortened to 2-3 days).

Selection of composite adhesive

Generally, two-component polyurethane glue that meets the cooking requirements is selected. In the past, most manufacturers used Japanese AD502 adhesive. Now, YH502 and other adhesives produced in China have gradually replaced imports.

Printing ink selection

Using a specific high-temperature cooking ink, it still does not turn yellow or black after 121 or 40 minutes of cooking. Two-component polyurethane ink is often used. The performance of the cooking ink is relatively stable all year round.

Aluminized laminated film bags

Choose the right glue

Choose the appropriate glue specifically for laminating aluminized films such as VMCPP and VMPET. VMCPP and VMPET from different manufacturers vary greatly after lamination.

The abrasion resistance of composite membranes often needs to be considered during the design and manufacturing process to ensure that they can meet the requirements of a specific application. This may include selecting appropriate materials, adding specific coatings or additives, and performing quality control to ensure wear resistance meets requirements.
